Bug Off
Ever wonder why you still get bug bites from citronella-based bug sprays or candles? It's because citronella is not an effective agent at repelling bugs. Citronella is not a natural insect repellent made without harsh or toxic chemicals. And who likes that smell!
Our bug spray combines the following 100% pure, sustainably-sourced essential oils, each known to repel different insects:
*Lemon eucalyptus oil -is an ingredient in some commercial mosquito repellents. It seems to be about as effective as other mosquito repellents including some products that contain DEET. However, the protection offered by lemon eucalyptus oil doesn't seem to last quite as long as DEET ! Although just as affective, Bug Off at times , may require reapplications as needed but its better that putting dangerous chemicals on you body!
*Lavender oil- is thought to be effective in repelling adult mosquitos (as found in an NIH animal study), Peppermint oil is effective at repelling mosquitos, flies, gnats, bed bugs, ants, lice, moths, spiders, ticks, fruit flies
*Peppermint Oil-Peppermint essential oil might just be the holy grail of natural pest repellents to leave around your home's entry points, as it can help keep away ticks, spiders, roaches, moths, flies, fleas, beetles, lice and ants.
*Melaleuca oil ( Tea Tree Oil)- This oil is known for its antiseptic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. But studies also show that tea tree oil may be an effective insect repellent. Field testing shows that repellents containing tea tree oil are effective against mosquitoes, bush flies, and biting midges. Tea Tree oil also repels head lice, bed bugs, dust mites.

I would like to add a testimonial on this product: During a 4th of July event we had family over and the mosquitoes were thick! My Father in Law and his guests were getting attacked like mad. His one guest stated that he was allergic to commercial bug repellents and wrapped himself up in blankets trying to escape the pesty bugs. I brought this spray down to where they were sitting and sprayed all of them, within minutes they were all enjoying the fireworks without being wrapped up in blankets. Since then, they all carry a bottle of Bug Off with them. It really does work and smells good too!
